Fergus Hall is a leading dealer in old master paintings, predominantly of the seventeenth century. Based in London, the gallery deals in Flemish, Spanish, Dutch, British and Italian works. Our gallery is located on Albemarle Street at the centre of London’s art market, where we hold a large selection of works for sale including landscapes and marine paintings from the Dutch ‘Golden Age’, and portraits by masters such as Anthony Van Dyck and Rubens, in whom we have a special interest.
Fergus graduated from Edinburgh University with an M.A. in History of Art (1991-95), and has been active in the art market ever since. He initially embarked on a career in finance, during which time he served as a non-executive Director of a number of companies including Farrow & Ball, the leading luxury paints business, having led a management buy-out of the company. After nearly two decades of collecting, Fergus decided to follow his life-long passion for art by forming an independent dealership in 2008.
